ABOUT

BayBG Bayerische Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH was founded in 1969 as a state equity company to strengthen the Bavarian economy and made its first SME participations in 1972; it took its current name in 2010. Its venture unit says it has invested about €200M in more than 80 startups over 25 years, sometimes as private mirror partner of public funds such as Bayern Kapital.
