ABOUT

8a+ Investimenti SGR is an independent asset management company founded in Varese in 2006 by managers who had worked together at Symphonia SGR and Banca Ifigest. It manages Italian mutual funds, the Luxembourg multi-compartment 8a+ SICAV (since 2012) and individual portfolio mandates. At the end of 2019 it repositioned towards private markets products for retail investors and, since 2020, has partnered with Banca Generali on closed-end funds: 8a+ Real Innovation (venture capital, European real-estate debt, credit and debt securities) and the PIR-compliant 8a+ Real Italy ELTIF (credit, debt and listed or unlisted Italian SMEs).

INVESTMENT THESIS

Channel private savings into the Italian real economy through non-reserved closed-end funds with a minimum six-year life: venture capital (e.g. alongside Fondo Italiano d'Investimento), private debt and credit, and equity in listed and unlisted Italian SMEs.
