Overview
Alter Equity is a Paris management company founded in 2007 by Fanny Picard, a former Wendel executive, and approved by the AMF in 2008. Its funds invest €4–20M, alone or in co-investment, in minority or majority stakes in European companies with more than €1M revenue whose products have a positive environmental or social impact, and require each holding to adopt an extra-financial business plan and a carbon audit. A regional press article reposted on its site (10 April 2026) states it manages a total of €270M; its third fund (3P III, €150M) made its fourth investment, Expliseat, in April 2026. Exits include Innovafeed, Gojob, Eficia, ilek and Wild Code School.
Investment thesis
Companies whose activity has a strong positive impact on the environment (energy transition, circular economy, recycling, green chemistry, biodiversity) or on people (education, employability, health, well-being, inclusion), committed to an extra-financial business plan.
