ABOUT

3xP Global S.A. was incorporated in September 2018 in Lisbon and obtained its EU fund-management licence in November 2019. It has activated five closed-end venture capital funds: SIF Innovation Fund (€21.5M cap, 2020), a second fund (€10.5M cap, 2021), Health Innovation Fund (€50M cap, 2023, 60% co-financed by the FdCR Consolidar programme), 3xP Responsible AI Fund (€1.47M cap, 2023) and Impact Innovation Fund (€25M, 2024, 70% co-financed by the FdCR Venture Capital programme), and its site also lists a Golden Caravel Fund. It invests across three verticals (health and life sciences, impact investing, tailor-made solutions) and lists 26 portfolio companies; it became a B Corp in January 2021 and is a UN PRI signatory and Invest Europe member.

INVESTMENT THESIS

Impact Innovation Fund backs growth-phase companies in Portugal and Spain tackling social and environmental challenges; Health Innovation Fund targets Portugal's CDMO market, digital health, AI-driven drug discovery and early-stage healthspan therapeutics.
