Overview

APEX is a sports-focused investment firm founded in 2020, with offices in Oeiras and London, backed by more than 100 professional athletes. Its Elite Performance Fund backs sports, media and entertainment companies from pre-seed to Series A, partly through the APEX Impact Program, which invests €250,000 per company. Red Bull's investment arm is among the fund's investors. In December 2025 it announced a Sports Growth Fund targeting €300M for 20–49% stakes in European teams, leagues and related businesses. Holdings include ScorePlay, Output Sports, TMRW Sports, Alpine F1 Team, Venezia FC and, since July 2026, a stake in Canada's Northern Super League.
