Overview

BeAble Capital is a Madrid venture capital manager focused on technology transfer from Spanish academic and research institutions, which it calls science equity. It was co-founded by Almudena Trigo and David López; its site dates the company to 2008, and BeAble Capital SGEIC, S.A. has been registered with the CNMV since January 2016. It manages BeAble Innvierte KETs Fund FCR (a €32M fund launched with CDTI and the EIF; press describes BeAble's first fund as €35M) and BeAble Innvierte Science Equity Fund FCRE (€50M, 2023), backed by CDTI-Innvierte, ICO's Fond-ICO Global, the EIF, family offices, pension funds and BBVA.
