Overview

Change Partners was set up in 2000 by Mário Pinto, formerly head of M&A and private equity at BPI; in 2002 it took a majority stake in Comptris (founded 1989) and in 2004 the company was renamed Change Partners, SCR, SA. By December 2017 it reported 56 investments totalling about €62 million and 43 divestments through four vehicles (Change SGPS, Fast Change FCR, Real Change FCR and Fast Change II FCR), with €14 million under management. Fast Change II FCR (€5 million) closed its investment period in December 2015 after 8 investments in biotech, digital health and energy efficiency. Portfolio companies listed on its archived site include GuestCentric, Sword Health, Exogenus Therapeutics, Cell2B and Biomode.
