Overview
Exergon is a Franco-Italian venture fund for energy-transition technologies, launched and incubated by Audacia in January 2024 and co-founded by Charles Beigbeder and Giuseppe Sangiovanni. It invests from seed to Series B+ in new nuclear, energy storage, and energy efficiency and AI, with tickets of €300k to €8M. Audacia says it aims to deploy close to €100M in around thirty European startups. Its own management company, Exergon Ventures SAS, was authorised by the AMF in July 2026.
Investment thesis
Three verticals — new nuclear, energy storage, and energy efficiency & AI — in companies that combine disruptive technology with commercially and industrially viable solutions; multi-stage from seed and Series A to Series B+. The 2024 launch release said most investments would be made in the EU, UK, Norway and Switzerland.
