Overview

Impactivist, known as Investir&+ until 2025, grew out of the social-enterprise incubator Fair Planet (2003) and an investor group formed through the Ashoka Support Network in 2011; the two merged in 2012 under Vincent Fauvet’s presidency. It is an evergreen investment company financed exclusively by individuals, mostly entrepreneurs — over 90 shareholders — who also support portfolio companies. It invests €250k to €2.5M in equity or quasi-equity, leading or co-leading seed and Series A rounds of impact startups in climate, health, circular economy, agriculture, education and inclusion, and civic tech. Its team also co-runs the Mutuelles Impact fund with XAnge.

Investment thesis

Impact-first: companies with accessible solutions for the many, strong growth potential for impact and business, in commercial acceleration with first usage and impact metrics; themes — personal fulfilment (education, employment, retirement), care (access to healthcare), sustainable consumption and circular economy, better food and agriculture, civic engagement. Lead or co-lead at seed and Series A; long-term support enabled by the evergreen structure.
