Overview

LIFTT S.p.A. is a Turin-based venture capital holding, chaired by physicist Stefano Buono, that invests in deep-tech start-ups in Europe and beyond, from research spin-offs to later rounds. Its capital comes from 215 shareholders, including Compagnia di San Paolo, Fondazione CRT, Fondazione LINKS and Azimut, plus investment holdings, family offices, business angels and entrepreneurs. In June 2025 it refocused as a “multi-vertical” investor on four areas: infrastructure for the data revolution, human health and aging, critical resources, and energy security and industrial automation. It reported €110.1M of capital raised since inception and total assets of €93.2M at end-2024.
