Angel Engine e.V. is a registered association of business angels founded in the Düsseldorf economic area. Its almost 40 members invest individually but pool for larger tickets, and back startups from the first idea through a six-step 'Start your Engine' process that often ends with first funding commitments from the circle. Focus themes are IoT (industrial IoT and B2B SaaS), the health economy, circular economy and creative and cultural industries, plus a cross-border initiative with the Dutch and Belgian ecosystems. It is a member of the German business angel federation BAND.
