ABOUT

Business Angels Netzwerk Elbe-Weser e.V. (BANEW) was founded in 2013 as a registered association on the initiative of the economic development agencies of the districts of Harburg, Stade and Rotenburg (Wümme). It builds a business-angel culture in the Elbe-Weser region between Hamburg and Bremen, bringing startups together with members who invest their own capital and know-how, though it does not limit membership or applications geographically. Its office is at Süderelbe AG in Hamburg-Harburg, and it became a member of Business Angels Deutschland (BAND) in 2022. Angels from the network, notably the five-angel group Raakwark Kaptaal, invested in suena (2022) and Mateo (2022).
