- ProSiebenSat.1's investment arm for early-stage start-ups (media deals with low single-digit million amounts, e.g. vivido 2025)
Overview
SevenVentures GmbH is the investment arm of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, based at the group's headquarters in Unterföhring near Munich. It invests in B2C companies with proven business models, mainly through media-for-equity deals in which advertising on ProSiebenSat.1's TV channels and digital platforms is exchanged for minority stakes, as well as media convertibles and exit participations of €0.5–30 million. Its early-stage label SevenAccelerator backs younger start-ups such as vivido (2025). Recent deals include a media-for-equity stake in FINN as part of its €100 million Series D in June 2026.
Investment thesis
Media-for-equity investor for B2C companies with proven business models, from early to growth stage, that want to expand their core business or enter Germany: minority equity investments paid largely in TV and digital advertising, plus convertible loans (media convertibles that can enter between rounds) and exit participations of €0.5–30m; investing its own resources frees it from traditional VC restrictions.
