ABOUT
ABE Capital Partners, SGEIC, S.A. is an independent private equity manager founded in 2019 in Bilbao and registered with the CNMV (no. 156, 28 November 2019). It was set up by Javier Arana, formerly a partner at Alantra Private Equity (ex-Nmás1), with Manuel Blanco as the other key executive. It invests in profitable Spanish small and medium-sized companies in technology, sustainability and health & wellbeing, backing organic and inorganic growth, with the management team co-investing alongside LPs. Its first fund, ABE Private Equity Fund, FCR, had a €200M target (hard cap €250M); the Basque Government authorised a €12M commitment through the Instituto Vasco de Finanzas, with private investors expected alongside.
