Overview
Adiuva Capital GmbH is an independent, owner-managed private equity firm in Hamburg that has backed Mittelstand companies since 2011. It says it invests the entrepreneurially earned capital of its German investors, independent of institutional interests, and has raised more than EUR 800m of equity since its founding. It takes majority or minority stakes (at least 25%) alongside entrepreneurs in growth financings, successions, spin-offs and going-privates, mainly in German-speaking countries and with no sector focus apart from excluding start-ups and early-stage financing. Its holdings span industrial services, telecommunications and fibre networks, healthcare, IT services and consumer goods.
Investment thesis
Long-term capital for established Mittelstand companies in growth, succession, spin-off and going-private situations, often through buy-and-build, with no sector restriction other than excluding start-ups and early-stage financing.
