Overview

Decelera runs a programme in Menorca for seed-stage startups (ten editions before 2026) and a venture fund that invests in the founders it selects. Its fund, Decelera Ventures I FCR, is managed by Sancus Capital SGEIC, part of Sancus Capital Group, and has €38m of commitments, with 24 companies invested. From the 2026 Menorca edition it commits capital before the programme: €300k initially, up to €1m after the programme and up to €2m per company including follow-ons. It is led by founder and CEO Marcos Martín with four other founding partners.
