ABOUT

Technofounders was founded in 2014 by Pierre and Olivier Le Blainvaux and Yves Matton as a startup studio that builds companies from French public research (CNRS, CEA, INRAE and others), with its venture partners acting as interim CEOs during pre-seed. Its investment holding TF Participations raised €5M in 2017 and €23M in 2019, the latter with Bpifrance's French Tech Accélération fund, Groupama Rhône-Alpes and family offices. It was authorised by the AMF as a portfolio management company on 8 December 2025 and is raising TF Participations II, an FPCI with a €100M target investing from pre-seed to Series A in about 30 French deeptech companies. It reports 17+ startups created and backed, €30M+ invested and €90M+ of co-investment mobilised.

Invests from creation in companies built on strong scientific innovation from French research, in sustainable production (agriculture, chemistry and materials, energy), healthcare and industrial sovereignty (security, space, AI and electronics).
