ABOUT
T.Capital (Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners Management GmbH, Hamburg) is the strategic investment arm of Deutsche Telekom and manages €2.3 billion on the group's behalf through two strategies. Its Ventures team invests €2–5 million, mainly as a strategic follower, at Series A to C in Europe, the US and Israel; its Tech Fund team takes control or significant minority positions of €50–300 million in growth equity and buyouts in Europe and the US. The mandate grew out of the platform Deutsche Telekom built from 2015 as DTCP; the team page dates T.Capital's founding team to 2023 and says the former hub:raum early-stage portfolio was merged into it. Portfolio companies are expected to partner with Deutsche Telekom through pilots, joint go-to-market and cross-selling.
INVESTMENT THESIS
Invests in category-defining technology businesses where Deutsche Telekom can add value through pilots, joint go-to-market and cross-selling: Ventures as a strategic follower at Series A to C (€2–5m) and the Tech Fund in growth equity and buyouts with control or significant minority positions (€50–300m) in AI, defence tech, cloud, cybersecurity and IoT.
