ABOUT

Calcium Capital is a Paris-based, AMF-authorised management company that pools the capital of entrepreneurs, company executives and French and European industrial families to invest in unlisted SMEs. It takes majority or minority stakes of €5–20M through growth capital, buyouts (with or without leverage) or purchases of existing shareholdings, in companies of any sector with revenue of a few million to a few tens of millions of euros. It reports 14 investments since 2013, three of them exited, and says its team is the largest investor in the funds it manages.

Generalist small-cap private equity in France and Europe: growth companies with revenue of a few million to a few tens of millions of euros, an established product or service range, no turnaround situations, and management significantly invested in the capital; reference shareholder, majority or structuring minority, with a flexible holding period and capacity to reinvest.
