ABOUT

Eoniq invests in pre-seed and seed technology companies founded in Spain, with a stated focus on founders outside Madrid and Barcelona. Its first fund, Eoniq Mediterranean Seed Fund I FCRE, was registered with the CNMV in April 2022 under the manager Gesalcalá and was launched with the Barcelona financial group Riva y García. The firm reports that Fund I invested more than €12M in 50 companies with 91 investors, and it is now raising Fund II, targeting €30–50M for about 50 companies, under Mar Océana Venture Capital Investments SGEIC. Initial cheques are €100,000–€250,000, with follow-on reserves of up to €2M per company.
