2bpartner is a venture capital company (sociedade de capital de risco) created in 2007 by AIMinho with private investors and companies; grupo dst acquired the majority of its capital in 2012. At the end of 2011 it set up the Minho Inovação e Internacionalização fund, focused on early-stage and first-round financing and co-financed by COMPETE (through FINOVA) and private investors. The fund targets innovative projects with international potential based in Portugal's Norte, Centro and Alentejo regions, with investments of around €200k per project.
